The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering at Howard's Graduate School is designed for students interested in a broad range of areas in mechanical engineering. Our students engage in high-impact research to solve real-life engineering problems. Our program welcomes applicants with a background in mathematics, applied physics, chemistry, engineering, or physical science-related fields. Our graduate program will prepare you, like many of our graduate alums, for a career in research and development, or industry, or to pursue doctoral study.

The Ph.D. in Biomedical and Chemical Engineering at Howard's Graduate School is designed for students interested in pursuing research studies in areas like infectious disease, food engineering, biomechanics and modeling, energy and sustainability, and environmental remediation. As a Ph.D. student in our program, you will develop a holistic understanding of ethical, environmental, and social responsibilities.

The Public Relations major is a core educational requirement designed to develop public speaking skills.

Organizational communications refers to the style in which companies interact. It includes common practices among both internal staff members and outside stakeholders.

The Media Management major focuses on management and leadership issues in media enterprises.

The Legal Communication major focuses on legal and related issues in the field of communication such as constitutional privilege, statutory law and protected speech.

The Advertising major focuses on developing persuasive messages designed to sell products, services or ideas.

The program focuses on film history, the role of film in society, film theory, and film criticism.
