Our 15-credit graduate certificate prepares students to become familiar with contemporary issues, challenges, and opportunities in higher education.

Howard’s Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity is designed for students seeking entry into the cybersecurity industry – in areas like network and cloud security, network management, and risk and threat management – and for network and information systems professionals. The Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences at the Graduate School is designed to prepare students for nutrition-related careers in research, industry, public health, academia, and senior-level health consulting roles. The Ph.D. program emphasizes evidence-based approaches to the promotion of nutritional well-being and disease prevention among underserved communities, both nationally and globally. You may choose from two distinct fields of specialization: community nutrition and experimental nutrition.

The Master of Computer Science (MCS) at Howard's Graduate School provides intensive preparation in the analysis, design, and application of computing systems to solve complex issues in healthcare, transportation, cybersecurity, data science, and many other areas. Our program welcomes applicants with a strong aptitude for mathematics or programming or a background in computer science, mathematics, business, or related disciplines. Like many of our graduate alums, you will be prepared for a career in research, industry, or government or for further study at the doctoral level.

The Master of Science (M.S.) in Nutritional Sciences at Howard's Graduate School is designed to prepare students for nutrition-related careers in research, industry, public health, clinical practice, and health consulting. The Ph.D. program in School Psychology at Howard prepares school psychologists to promote learning and development in various social processes and systems. Our program has particular strengths in multicultural education and emphasizes theoretical foundations in school psychology, learning theory, and the biological, social, and cognitive-affective bases of development.

The APA-accredited Ph.D. program in Psychology (specialization in Neuropsychology) at Howard’s Graduate School provides didactic and research training in the study of brain-behavior interactions and human behavior as it relates to normal and abnormal functioning of the central nervous system.
